**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly compassionate and caring Physician to join our dedicated team. As a Physician at our treatment center, you will play a pivotal role in the lives of patients who are in need of support and guidance on their path to recovery. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant impact in helping individuals overcome addiction and regain control of their lives.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Comprehensive Patient Care:** You will be responsible for conducting medical assessments, creating treatment plans, and providing ongoing medical care to patients battling addiction. This includes prescribing appropriate medications, monitoring progress, and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
2. **Collaborative Teamwork:** Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team, including therapists, counselors, and nurses, to ensure holistic and patient-centered care.
3. **Patient Advocacy:** Serve as an advocate for the well-being of our patients, advocating for their unique needs, and helping to create a safe and supportive environment for their recovery.
4. **Education and Support:** Educate patients and their families about the addiction recovery process, treatment options, and available resources. Offer emotional support and guidance to both patients and their loved ones.
5. **Documentation:** Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.

**Qualifications:**
- Medical degree (MD or DO) and board certification in an appropriate specialty. PA/FNP/NPs with prior experience also needed.
- Current and unrestricted medical license in North Carolina.
- Experience or a strong interest in addiction medicine or related fields.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
