TL;DR Kharon is seeking a full-time Billing Operations Specialist to join our team in Washington, D.C or Denver, Colorado. This role requires in-office attendance. RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify and manage customer purchase order (PO) requirements, invoicing procedures, and payment workflows with client stakeholders. Own and navigate client procurement processes, including raising purchase orders, submitting required documentation, and managing customer payment workflows through customer portals once a deal is nearing close. Serve as the liaison between Sales, Client Services, and Finance to ensure all customer and payment steps are completed accurately and efficiently during the final stages of client contracting. Collect and confirm critical onboarding details, including customer entity names, shipping/billing addresses, and customer procure-to-pay requirements. Coordinate with Legal to ensure contracts reflect accurate customer information. Confirm Kharon’s customer onboarding status with the client, including procurement portal setup (e.g., Ariba, Coupa) and payment terms. Re-engage clients post-close to ensure PO issuance and readiness for billing. Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Legal, Sales Ops, Customer Success, Accounting, IT) to remove bottlenecks and accelerate time from signature to payment. Support clean handoff to Accounts Receivable to ensure timely and accurate invoicing. Drive efficiency in the quote-to-cash process and contribute to reducing sales cycle times. QUALIFICATIONS: ~ A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, International Relations, Political Science, or a related field. ~3+ years of experience in a Billing and/or P2P Operations or similar role. ~ Strong understanding of B2B procurement, AP workflows, and contract execution processes. ~ Experience working with client-side finance and procurement teams, including use of platforms such as Ariba, Coupa, etc. ~ Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills. ~ Effective communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders. ~ Proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in cross-functional settings. ~ Familiarity with CRM systems, invoicing tools, and procurement portals is a plus. The base salary range at Kharon is set between $85,000 and $100,000. Please note that this figure does not necessarily include potential bonuses, commissions, benefits, or equity that may be part of the overall compensation package.
