Job Description

Shirlee Beloved is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Caregiver to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide exceptional care and support to clients in a variety of settings, including their homes and assisted living facilities. As a Certified Caregiver, you will work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, ensuring that they receive personalized assistance tailored to their individual circumstances. You will assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation, while also providing companionship and emotional support to help foster a sense of well-being for our clients. Your commitment to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment will involve monitoring the health and safety of clients, reporting any changes in their condition, and collaborating with healthcare professionals when necessary. Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor medication schedules.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Valid caregiver certification from a NCIA Board accredited institution.
  • Previous experience in caregiving or a similar role preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certified
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
  • Compassionate and patient attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Benefits
