This position provides the opportunity for a hybrid/flex-hour work schedule.   Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of civil engineering analysis and design tasks related to: roadway system and grading design, stormwater management, utility layout and coordination, zoning analysis, site layout and planning, and site ADA compliance Support coordination and presentation of submissions with local utilities, municipalities, environmental agencies, and town planning boards Perform site investigations to observe and document existing conditions Assist in the preparation of project plans, design calculations, bid documents, specifications and the coordination with other design disciplines as required to deliver high quality engineering services Perform construction inspections and provide responses and solutions to issues during the construction administration phase of projects Utilize a broad assortment of technical and project management skills on projects that range from small restorations to large scale new construction  Attend professional industry functions Support the development of technical standards and mentorship of junior engineering staff Qualifications ~ Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering ~3+ years’ experience in Civil Engineering ~ EIT certification required, NJ PE preferred ~ Ability to provide guidance to junior level engineers ~ Understanding and application of code requirements ~ Strong written and verbal communication skills ~ Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines ~ AutoCAD, Civil 3D proficiency a requirement; Microstation experience a plus   We are committed to your success, and we invest in your growth and development to unlock your full potential. The range provided is the salary that the Firm in a good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position.
