Position: Clinical Pharmacist

Location: Cary, NC

Duration: 3 months+ Contract with high possibility of extension!!!

Pay Rate: $60/hr

Note:

• Hybrid role [ Onsite for 1st month of training; hybrid once able to meet metrics ]
• Work Schedule: 40 hours/ week | Mon-Fri shift 9-6 EST
• MANDATORY: Must be licensed in NC and in good standing

Job Description:

• Must have at least 3 years of direct patient counseling and like to be on the phone 8 hours a day
• 3-5 years or more post-graduate experience in pharmacy operation, clinical oversight, and patient care
• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
• BCOP certified or willing to become BCOP certified when eligible
• Current and unrestricted license in good standing
• Licensed in the state of North Carolina or Texas to practice pharmacy, license in good standing
• Meets or exceeds current CE requirements pursuant to Board of Pharmacy Laws
• Ability to apply for additional state licensures as needed
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of computers and excellent word processing skills
• Working knowledge of sterile technique and other quality control issues
• The primary responsibility of the Clinical Pharmacist is to provide oversight and safety for all daily operations of the assigned patient care team, including management of assigned pharmacy staff, clinical support to patients, and ensuring that all prescriptions are dispensed in accordance with state, federal and board of pharmacy laws.
