Commercial Lines Account Assistant - Insurance - Hanford, CA

A highly respected insurance agency with over four decades of experience in the business is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Assistant to join its team. What we need from you:

• 2+ years of administrative or clerical experience, prior insurance industry experience is a huge plus!
• An active Property & Casualty license is a plus!
• Software - Any agency management systems - AppliedEpic, AMS360, Microsoft Office, carrier websites, and other software systems as needed for the position

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing administrative tasks, including document organization, scanning, and printing.
• Professionally managing incoming calls, promptly responding to emails, and proactively assisting clients with their insurance inquiries and needs.
• Maintaining accurate client files and policy details within the agency management system.
• Efficiently inputting applications and supporting online rating processes.
• Thoroughly verifying critical information for file documentation, such as premiums, policy numbers, claims reports, and forms.
• Collaborating with internal departments to meet customer needs effectively.
