As the pioneer of Consulting 2.0, Client gives the world’s leading companies on-demand access to a community of highly vetted independent consultants and former operators. From individual consultants to full project teams, we deliver the right expertise to solve our clients’ most important challenges. Our clients include more than 30% of the Fortune 500, top private equity firms, and global consultancies, all seeking a more flexible, cost-effective way to get high-impact work done.
We’ve reimagined consulting for today’s world: it’s digitally enabled, fit-for-purpose, and designed to deliver outcomes, not just hours. Our proprietary platform powers our ability to connect companies with Client Experts and Teams who’ve solved similar problems before. Backed by world-class venture investors, we’re building the team that will take Client and the future of consulting to the next level.
The Client Practice Community supports independent consultants in building and growing their practices, both within and beyond the Client platform. It offers resources, networking opportunities, and events to help members connect, share best practices, and collaborate on client work.
As Director, Practice Community at Client Technologies, you will lead the strategic growth and operational scaling of industry practices and functional capabilities across our Independent Consultants community. Positioned at the intersection of community building, strategic execution of the practice community roadmap, and stakeholder enablement, this role is critical in aligning our Independent Consultant communities with evolving client demand.
You will oversee a dynamic portfolio of practices composed of thousands of former executives, former consultants, and thought leaders—driving expert engagement, reusable offering development, and cross-practice collaboration. We are seeking a bold innovator who will reimagine how consulting practices are built and scaled, leveraging AI and digital tools to pioneer new community and delivery models.
This role requires a strategic operator with a strong blend of vision-setting and hands-on execution, capable of building scalable structures and transforming expert engagement into a sustainable competitive advantage for Client. A strong emphasis will also be placed on thought leadership development—partnering with Marketing and Independent Consultants from the community to consistently elevate our brand and perspectives in the market.
Location: This role is a hybrid position based in our Boston office.
