Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturer of food and beverages is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join their team. As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll be an integral part of the operations and sales support team, managing customer accounts from order placement through delivery. This role requires a proactive communicator who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing setting and takes pride in ensuring every customer receives exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and account support.
  • Manage assigned client accounts and oversee the entire order management process from start to finish.
  • Process and track purchase orders, invoices, and shipments while maintaining accurate records in the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery of products.
  • Monitor order status and proactively resolve shipment, documentation, or billing issues.
  • Prepare and maintain product documentation such as Certificates of Analysis (COAs), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and other regulatory materials.
  • Manage pricing updates, quotes, and customer data to ensure information accuracy.
  • Maintain detailed communication logs and ensure prompt follow-up on all customer requests.
  • Support reporting initiatives and assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of customer service experience in the manufacturing industry is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (onsite).
