Job Description

Job Title: Platform Specialist/Data Entry Specialist

Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion to Full-time)

Location: Williamsville, NY 14221(Onsite)

Looking for a candidate with experience in Data Entry, Customer Service , and Microsoft Excel .

To qualify for this role, the candidate must complete a 1-minute typing test and achieve a minimum score of 40 words per minute (WPM) .

Overview:

The Platform Specialist is a productive and established individual contributor responsible for handling unique or complex customer transactions, including updates, corrections, and requests that occur outside the standard platform process. This role supports transaction processing while helping to drive platform adoption and operational efficiency.

Operating under moderate supervision, the Platform Specialist will address inquiries with speed and accuracy and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). The specialist will perform transactional functions, support associate requests, and promote consistent, high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain data integrity across transactions and systems.
  • Optimize internal business processes and workflows.
  • Identify and promote opportunities to increase platform usage.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Managers and Business Owners to convert opportunities into outcomes.
  • Generate data quality reports and metrics; provide actionable insights.
  • Provide general team support and assistance with platform-related activities.
  • Support the adoption of the Xvantage platform by resolving issues and ensuring accurate order entry.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of professional communication techniques and customer service best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel.
  • Understanding of business programs, services, and products.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Capable of analyzing data to identify trends and insights.
  • Results-driven with the ability to prioritize tasks and act with urgency.
  • Collaborative team player who can also operate independently when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience with at least 3 years of relevant functional experience,
  • OR
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of functional experience, preferably at a senior level.
  • Solid understanding of transactional processes and ability to apply knowledge to a broad range of task
