Job Description

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of design work, ensuring specifications are met and drawings are precise, complete, and error-free
• Communicate directly with clients through meetings, presentations, and quotations to define needs, resolve technical issues, and provide project updates
• Interpret sketches and specifications to determine design parameters, and create detailed layouts with accurate dimensions, tolerances, and part arrangements
• Support planning, manufacturing, assembly, and quality teams to align design outputs with operational requirements and production goals
• Organize engineering activities, lead design reviews, and serve as a technical expert both internally and externally to ensure successful project execution

Qualifications

• Completed a degree or certification program from an accredited CAD training institution
• 3+ years of experience creating precise 3D models and technical drawings of molds using CAD software
• Plastics injection molding experience a must
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong familiarity in assembly operations considered a plus
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, with practical application in optimizing product design and production efficiency

Salary: $60K - $85K
