JOB DESCRIPTION
What You’ll Do Install and test electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment. Install wireways, conduits, and cable trays; ground electrical equipment per specifications and NEC code. Perform simple utility wire connections and understand electrical circuit functions. Read blueprints and thread conduit accurately. Use basic hand tools and measuring devices; ensure tools are in good working condition. Maintain a clean and safe work area; attend safety meetings and wear protective gear.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
What We’re Looking For Education: High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training in electricity preferred. Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on electrical installation or related work (blueprint reading, conduit threading, wiring). Tools & Skills: Ability to safely use basic hand tools and measuring devices; familiarity with NEC code is a plus. Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, kneel, crouch, and use hands for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable working on feet for 8+ hours.
