Job Description

The Engagement and Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing company travel arrangements and company events. The Engagement and Events Coordinator embodies the characteristics of servant leadership, integrity, and customer-centric mindset. This role also ensures seamless travel experiences for employees and guests along with the successful delivery of internal and external events that align with company goals and culture. These tasks are accomplished by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):

• Coordinating travel arrangements for partners and other guests

• Coordinating all arrangements for conventions/conferences and associated travel

• Providing various cost analyses on travel and events

• Ensuring the Travel Policy is kept up to date and available to all company personnel

• Assisting Accounting to ensure all travel accounts are billed to the appropriate department as needed

• Determining and ordering company event items and apparel

• Maintaining new employee onboarding documents

• Participating in an internal team that focuses on shaping, promoting, and sustaining workplace culture

• Coordinating and representing the company with internal events

• Maintaining and updating company calendars of events and guest schedules

• Assisting CEO, COO, and HR Manager with assigned projects, including maintaining the company contracts repository

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Experience in the travel industry and public relations preferred

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Conscientious, detail-oriented worker who is self-motivated

• Excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite

• Experience with travel and event management software preferred

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• General office environment

• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds

• Ability to be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation including ability to walk, balance, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, and stoop
