Job Description

Doral Health & Wellness is seeking an experienced and versatile Sonographer (Ultrasound Technologist / Ultrasound Tech) to join our growing diagnostic imaging team in Brooklyn, NY. This per diem position is ideal for a skilled ultrasound professional with solid general imaging experience and cardiac (echocardiography) background.

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Sonographer who takes pride in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient-centered care in a collaborative outpatient environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including general, OB/GYN, vascular, and cardiac studies.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Collaborate with physicians, cardiologists, and other clinical team members to support patient diagnosis and care.
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Current certification (ARDMS, RVT, or equivalent).
• Cardiac/echocardiography experience highly preferred.
• Proficiency in general and specialty ultrasound procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and attention to detail.
