Job Description

Must Haves:

• Licensed HVAC Technician
• 3 years of commercial or industrial experience in high-capacity water and waste systems, sprinkler systems, process piping, and specialized equipment.
• 2-3 years of experience with building maintenance (carpentry, painting, patching, office space build-outs)
• Experience with materials like steel, stainless steel, or specialized plastics; includes HVAC, fire suppression, and industrial process piping.
• OSHA standards, NFPA (fire safety), and local building codes for commercial/industrial properties.

Day-to-day:

A local non-profit is looking for a Licensed HVAC Technician/Building Maintenance III to join their team in San Antonio, TX. The primary responsibility is to perform plumbing repairs and maintenance on various structures, including company buildings and warehouses.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems

• Maintain accurate log of completed jobs

• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures, and building codes

• Troubleshoot and repair systems related to electronics, sprinkler systems, mechanical, and HVAC • Maintain inventory of company-owned tools, equipment, and materials

• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams

• Respond to emergency calls as needed

• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA, and safe work practices

• Maintains local purchase, and other records for parts and materials needed to complete work

• May supervise lower-level electricians

• Other duties as assigned or requested
