Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate and up‐to‐date acceptance and rejection records and/or certifications systems as required by
* the applicable specifications.
* Determine acceptance or rejection after inspection and/or calibration of parts. Identify defective conditions and
* test failures and prepare all appropriate documentation and/or calibration history.
INSPECTION
* Perform inspection on detailed machined parts using a wide variety of measuring and test equipment to determine acceptability or rejections of parts and/or parts finish.
* Interpret specifications, charts and manuals. Use mathematics to convert blueprint dimensions and
* tolerances. Work within the guidelines of drawings, schematics, blueprints, route sheets, travelers, quality
* directives, technical engineering specifications, customer's requirements and military standards and/or calibrations procedures.
* Observe and perform audits of a moderate scope or complexity on assembly and test, machining and other functions for compliance to procedures.
Job Requirements:
* Two years related inspection experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.
* Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, manufacturer's specifications and internal drawings and procedures.
* Ability to use and/or calibrate mechanical, hydraulic and electrical instruments/gages.
* Possess working knowledge of machine shop mathematics.
* Knowledge of applicable military standards may be required.
* Personal hand tools may be required.
* May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
* Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
