Manufacturing Operator/inspector

Location: San Carlos, CA 94070

Starting Pay $25-27/hr

Hours: M-F 8AM-5PM (flexible start after training)

4 months + possible Contract to direct hire

Summary

Requires attention to and an eye for detail. Will inspect and clean small metal parts used in medical devices. Good dexterity to handle the parts. Compare parts to spec sheet. Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, and working under microscope.

Small company environment so will ask to assist in running laser cutting machines.

• The successful candidate will be self-directed and hands-on.
• The person will be an integral member of our small team.
• The primary responsibilities will be part cleaning, final inspection, and packaging of customers' parts.
• We operate in an ISO 13485 environment.
• The ability to follow instructions and properly document your work is critical.
• Other helpful skills are part inspection and measurement, utilizing a microscope, and a vision measuring system.
• Our client is willing to train an individual in the skills necessary to be successful.
• The position requires you to move from station to station and be on your feet most of the day.
• Will need to lift objects over your head that weigh about 3-6 lbs.
• It will require the wearing of gloves and PPE.
• Organization skills and the ability to track multiple work orders in process simultaneously are a plus.
