Job Title: Insurance Defense Attorney

Location: Fishkill, NY (on-site)

About the Role:

As an Insurance Defense Attorney, you will independently manage a caseload involving general liability, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and construction-related claims. You’ll work closely with clients, carriers, and colleagues in a supportive team environment that values efficiency, strategy, and results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in litigation matters.
• Draft legal documents, motions, and discovery responses.
• Conduct depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
• Develop litigation strategies and negotiate settlements.

Qualifications:

• 0-1 years of experience.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Admitted to practice in New York.
• Ability to manage deadlines and caseload independently.

Salary and Other Compensation:

• The annual salary for this position is between $110,000-$130,000 annually, plus bonus. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
