Job Title: IRA Sourcing Specialist

Location: Hybrid – Must reside in the Charlotte, NC Metro Area

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled IRA Sourcing Specialist to support the implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and Prevailing Wage requirements within one of our Energy Clients. This role is critical in ensuring compliance, optimizing supplier relationships, and driving strategic sourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing, contracting, and supplier management, with a proven ability to navigate complex procurement environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sourcing efforts related to IRA and Prevailing Wage compliance for the Nuclear Business Unit.
• Educate suppliers and internal stakeholders on IRA requirements and negotiate pricing impacts on existing and new contracts.
• Review and ensure IRA compliance in all new contracts, purchase orders, and releases.
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain IRA Program Lead and Tax organization to address IRA-related inquiries.
• Manage supplier submissions of monthly prevailing wage payrolls and resolve any discrepancies.
• Complete the Nuclear Sourcing/Procurement Position Specific Guide training to operate independently.
• Conduct RFPs, bid event development, and supplier proposal evaluations.
• Analyze complex bid responses, identify commercial differences, and make supplier award recommendations.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions, including pricing, lead times, and service levels.
• Resolve billing and shipment discrepancies and support critical expediting activities.
• Maintain market intelligence on commodities, suppliers, and sourcing trends.
• Foster strong relationships with key suppliers and internal business partners.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be located in the Charlotte, NC Metro Area
• Strategic sourcing experience is required , including:
• RFP and bid event development
• Supplier proposal evaluation and coordination of technical reviews
• Commercial analysis and supplier selection based on evaluation criteria
• Contract negotiation and supplier relationship management
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in sourcing tools and procurement systems
