We are seeking a Board-Certified Locums Radiation Oncologist to provide part-time coverage in Bloomington, IL from Monday, July 21 through Friday, July 25. This short-term opportunity requires onsite presence during clinic hours to support treatment delivery and patient care.
Position Details:
Dates: July 21–25, 2025
Schedule:Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Setting:Outpatient Radiation Oncology
Call: None
Key Responsibilities:
Be onsite daily to support radiation therapy treatments
Conduct On-Treatment Visits (OTVs) on Wednesday
Collaborate with the care team, including therapists, nurses, and dosimetrists
Monitor and assess patient progress throughout the treatment week
Ensure seamless continuity of care and immediate response to clinical needs
Requirements:
MD or DO degree
Board Certification in Radiation Oncology – required
Active Illinois medical license
DEA and CSR certification
BLS and ACLS certification
