Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and reliability operations at a chemical manufacturing facility located just south of the Houston area. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective maintenance of plant equipment and infrastructure in a high-volume chemical manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, planners, and reliability engineers.
• Manage maintenance budgets, cost control, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and PSM (Process Safety Management) standards.
• Oversee maintenance of rotating equipment, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and procurement teams to support plant projects and turnaround planning.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and utilize CMMS for scheduling and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field) preferred.
• 7+ years of maintenance experience in chemical, petrochemical, or industrial manufacturing environments.
• 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of PSM compliance, reliability principles, root cause analysis, and asset management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
