MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Our client is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic who will be support their pharmaceutical manufacturing plant/equipment/utilities maintaining compliance with all state and federal guidelines with emphasis on current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) requirements.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

• Perform Preventive Maintenance and breakdown maintenance consistent with cGMP engineering maintenance requirements.
• Perform non-routine tasks as necessary.
• Troubleshoot issues and problems for optimal running efficiency by solving simple to complex problems related to equipment or process.
• Maintain documents related to PM, breakdown maintenance and usage logbook.
• Follow all company policies related to job safety in addition to all regulatory guidelines.
• Perform and assist in improvements/maintenance to all site operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Minimum 1 - 2 years of Mechanical Maintenance experience, in industrial, manufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and control diagrams.
• Welding, and plumbing knowledge including the ability to sweat copper tubing.
• Knowledge of HVAC Systems and troubleshoot using the Building Management System.
• Knowledge of Compressed Air/Pneumatic Systems and Troubleshooting.
• Ability to fabricate sheet metal guards and other simple replacement parts.
• Operational understanding and troubleshooting process for medium level equipment such as Compression Machines, High Shear Mixers, Film Coaters, and Capsule Filler.
• Experience working in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.

Must be able to work for a US based company without requiring visa sponsorship.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Hourly rate is $38.50/hr based on shift, experience and qualifications, as well as geographical market and business considerations.
