Manufacturing Engineer – Direct Hire

Location: Devens, MA

Overview:

This role supports Division, a global leader in fuel, lubrication, and thermal management systems. You will help improve manufacturing processes, drive efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Summary:

Responsible for ensuring cost-effective, reliable Gerotor manufacturing processes. Develops manufacturing methods, workflows, and plans to meet product and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and equipment layouts.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and test manufacturing methods; prepare work instructions.
• Ensure product and process quality through testing, inspection methods, and standards.
• Apply lean and continuous improvement principles to enhance productivity.
• Estimate production requirements, labor standards, and material costs.
• Support engineering with producibility input and recommend manufacturing methods.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and maintain process documentation.
• Stay current with industry practices, compliance requirements, and regulations.
• Contribute to cross-functional improvement projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Entry-level to early-career experience; internships acceptable.
• Knowledge of aerospace materials, metallurgy, heat treatment, and lean principles.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM, data analysis tools, and standard business software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with general direction.
