Medical Lab Scientist IV – Murfreesboro, TN (Full-Time, Onsite)
Location: Murfreesboro, TN 37129
Contract- 3+months
Schedule: 3rd Shift, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Pay Rate: $47/hr- $51.97/hr
Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Medical Lab Scientist IV to join the Core Lab team at our Murfreesboro location in Tennessee.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform high-complexity testing in a fast-paced core laboratory environment
• Analyze samples for chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and coagulation
• Operate and maintain lab instrumentation; perform QC and maintenance procedures
• Work independently during night shift operations
• Accurately document and communicate test results
• Interface with internal clinical teams to ensure proper lab workflow and efficiency
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Biological/Chemical/Physical Science required
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical lab experience in a core lab setting
• Generalist experience across chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and coagulation required
• Certification through ASCP or AMT required
• Must meet CLIA standards for high-complexity testing
• Experience using Cerner PathNet is preferred
• Must pass color vision screening
• Ability to work independently and handle a busy night shift
• Reliable and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
This is a contract position (91 days) with potential for extension or permanent employment based on performance and business needs.
