Job Title: Associate Patient Care Coordinator (PCC)

Pay - $16/hr
Job Summary:
The PCC is responsible for patient telephonic outreach, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and follow-up appointments to support the Practice Support Unit (PSU). The primary focus is scheduling patients for comprehensive annual screening visits.
Essential Job Functions:
- Conduct telephonic outreach to schedule annual screenings.
- Verify demographic and insurance information.
- Provide timely appointment reminders and reschedule as needed.
- Use telephonic software for outreach and inbound calls.
- Follow approved call scripts.
- Support PSU providers with follow-up appointment scheduling.
- Address patient messages and concerns, ensuring follow-up within 48 hours.
- Maintain professional relationships with patients, employees, and vendors.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- 1-2 years of related work experience.
- ICD 10 and CPT coding experience.
- Experience with EMR applications.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
