Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Scheduler to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling processes, and maintaining accurate patient records. This role is crucial in providing excellent customer service while supporting the overall operations of our clinic.

Hours are 8am to 430pm with a 1-hour lunch Monday-Friday

Pay up to $22.50/hr

Medical Scheduler Responsibilities

• Schedule and confirm patient appointments in a timely manner using computerized systems.
• Scheduling procedures, triage and referral appointments.
• Manage appointment calendars to optimize clinic workflow and minimize patient wait times.
• Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their appointments, including reminders and follow-ups.
• Maintain organized records of patient interactions and scheduling changes.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth operations within the clinic.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry.
