Microbiologist

Long Term, on going Contract (No end date)

Pay up to $29/hr

Skillman, NJ, will be moving to Summit, NJ toward the end of 2025/ early 2026

Experience with product testing, raw material testing, and/or USP testing is a huge plus!

USP testing includes checking for Toxicity, Enzymatic Activity, Sterility, Bioburden, endotoxin, Western Blot, ELISA, PCR/qPCR etc.

Experience working in a consumer product company is a huge plus!

Microbiologist

Individual should able to –

Understanding of safety, cGMPs and documentation for a Microbiology Laboratory
Understanding of general Microbiology laboratory procedures and Skillman campus procedures as related to routing sample management and testing, e.g. Fusion
Understanding of Product / Process Microbiology including:
Test Method Suitability and Validation
Microbial Limits
Water Activity
Microorganism Identification
Preservative Effectiveness (AET)
Water Testing
Growth Promotion
Media Preparation
Equipment Cleaning & Lab Cleaning
Take on new assignments under direct supervision as required
