Job Description

Responsible for duties in support of departmental efficiencies which may include: Insurance verification, scheduling, registration, reception and patient check out functions. Must obtain complete and accurate patient demographic information. Registration Representatives also must employ proper, compliant patient liability collection techniques before, during & after date of service. This is a centralized Patient registrar desk for multiple Clinics of DMC Children's Hospital. Must have some insurance verification or patient registration experience.

Job Description and Requirements

• Patient Registration Representative
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• 40 Hours per week
• Shift: 8AM-4:30PM ONSITE (No exceptions, no remote work)
• Employment Type: Local Contract
• Facility: DMC Childrens Clinics
• Pay: $27.67 Hourly

Requirements:

Education:

Required: High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred: Some college coursework

Experience:

Required: Patient Registrar or Insurance Verification experience.

Preferred: Administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area.

Due to high patient face-to-face interaction at our hospital facility clinicns, thish position does require that you provide your own Vaccination record (titers or immunizations) and a TB or PPD test.
