Job Description

Position Title: Platform Specialist (eCommerce)

Location: Itasca, IL (5 x Week Onsite)

Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 / Annually

Job Type: Full-Time | Exempt

We are currently searching for an experienced Platform Specialist to join our marketing team. This position will help manage and execute a variety of B2B and B2C internet initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

This role is responsible for developing and supporting multiple online initiatives. Key duties include:

  • Coordinating product set-up and managing product information (copy, images, videos) across B2B and B2C websites.
  • Monitoring sales performance and providing data-driven recommendations to management on product selections and inventory adjustments.
  • Assisting with marketing efforts, such as crafting and sending customer emails and maintaining a strong social media presence.
  • Adjusting website presentation to improve sales and enhance user experience.
  • Supporting additional web projects, ensuring content on corporate and sales websites is accurate and up-to-date.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years’ experience developing and coordinating B2B and B2C internet activities.
  • Experience with Shopify preferred.
  • Highly motivated, self-reliant, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong math aptitude, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Photoshop, HTML, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Marketing.
  • Demonstrated personal integrity and ethical behavior.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interpret documents, write reports and correspondence, and communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Must be able to work in the office five days per week.
