Proven experience in post production, ideally in a managerial or producer-level role Deep familiarity with AVID, Premiere, and other post tools Strong understanding of AI applications in media workflows Demonstrated success in change management, especially within creative or broadcast environments Ability to navigate union-related considerations (bonus points for prior union experience) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—comfortable asking questions, challenging norms, and building trust

Job Description

A leading creative operations team is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Post Production Consultant to help assess, reverse engineer, and modernize legacy workflows. This role is ideal for a seasoned post producer or production manager with a strong grasp of post production systems, change management, and emerging technologies (especially AI). The consultant will embed within the department to bring clarity, efficiency, and innovation to the post production pipeline. Responsibilities Immerse in the department’s day-to-day operations, especially Quality Control (QC) and Room Producer workflows Audit and analyze current post production processes, including spot trafficking, ship list management, and AVID bin organization Identify inefficiencies and propose actionable improvements across tools, team structure, and delivery workflows Collaborate with the End Credit Team, Bill’s team, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new processes Support and train Production Coordinators (PCs) and Room Producers as they adapt to updated QC protocols Validate instincts and proposed changes through data, team feedback, and operational testing Serve as a change agent—asking tough questions, challenging assumptions, and guiding the team through transformation Partner with leadership to implement scalable solutions that align with union guidelines and industry standards
