**Location:** Boviet Solar USA Greenville, NC

Job Summary:

The Procurement Manager at Boviet Solar is responsible for overseeing the procurement activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality acquisition of materials, equipment, and services that support our solar manufacturing and operations. The role ensures supplier performance, compliance with company policies, and alignment with Boviet Solar’s sustainability and business objectives. The Role will be the Plant highest representative of Procurement organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily procurement operations of a Team of 4 Procurement Analyst
  • Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers, negotiating terms, prices, and contracts to optimize value and mitigate risk.
  • Monitor supplier performance, including delivery timelines, quality standards, and service levels.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, production, quality, finance) to understand material requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Oversee inventory levels and material availability to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Ensure compliance with Boviet Solar’s procurement policies, ethical standards, and sustainability practices.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through vendor consolidation, strategic sourcing, and process improvements.
  • Generate and analyze procurement reports, presenting key metrics and recommendations to management.
  • Lead, mentor, and train the procurement team, fostering continuous improvement and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Experience in the solar, renewable energy, or manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
  • Commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing.
