Job Description

Position: Program Manager

Work Location: Richmond, VA (2-3 days/week Mon-Thu & Fri always remote)

Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension)

Required Experience & Skills:

• Strong Program Management background (not just project coordination).
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies; Release Train Engineering (RTE) background is highly relevant.
• Proficiency with Jira (must be able to use and report independently).
• Experience working across multiple dev teams, especially in regulated environments.
• Ability to work independently, self-starter mindset, capable of handling ambiguity and building structure.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, roadmap creation, and milestone management.
• Excellent communication skills – must interface with leadership, engineers, and business stakeholders alike.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Confluence dashboarding or documentation.
• G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Financial services experience.
• Experience working in a risk, compliance, or regulatory environment.
• Technical acumen to ask the right questions of engineers, though deep technical knowledge is not required.
• PMP certification is a plus but not required.
