Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Scheduling
  • Lead, mentor, and schedule the in-house project delivery engineer team; manage travel logistics and resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
  • End-to-End Project Ownership
  • Oversee project timelines and scope, ensuring successful installation, commissioning, and handover of LED display systems.
  • Onsite Escalation Management
  • Step in to address critical technical issues or client concerns when frontline engineers require support; coordinate with R&D or HQ teams as needed.
  • Client-Facing Professionalism
  • Maintain strong communication with clients during on-site work; ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and uphold company professionalism.
  • Reporting & Communication
  • Deliver regular updates on project status, team performance, escalations, and risk areas to internal stakeholders.
  • Process Compliance
  • Enforce standardized workflows, including pre-travel approvals, budget controls, site acceptance, and project closure documentation.
  • Local Delivery Framework Building
  • Help establish a scalable U.S.-based delivery system; gradually build and structure a high-performing local team.
  • Vendor and Outsourcing Oversight
  • Optimize the use of third-party contractors where necessary; establish vetting processes and service level expectations.
  • Team Development
  • Promote continuous learning and professional development within the delivery team to enhance technical and operational capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in LED display system installation, commissioning, or technical support
  • Prior experience managing multi-site or enterprise-level LED projects
  • PMP or CTS certifications preferred
  • Excellent leadership, planning, and troubleshooting skills
  • Fluent in English (Mandarin Chinese is a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, AV technology, or related field
  • Comfortable with frequent and extended travel (up to 100%) across the U.S. and Canada

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with LED manufacturing, cabinet structures, signal systems, and display calibration

• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating between field teams and corporate offices

• Hands-on experience with project tracking tools such as SAP, Smartsheet, Teamwork, or similar

• Ability to manage pressure, ambiguity, and tight deadlines while maintaining quality
