Quality Control Assurance Manager (75-95K)

We’re looking for a Quality Control Assurance Manager in the Syracuse, NY area!

This is a 1st shift, hands-on functional leadership role where you’ll be out on the production floor daily, making sure every batch meets strict quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Quality Lab Technician who’s ready to take the next step and grow into a leadership position in Quality Management.

Duties :

• Provide quality checks, documentation, and continuous improvement.
• Collect and analyze product samples from each production run using automated sampling systems.
• Perform testing to confirm mix consistency and detect cross-contamination.
• Prepare and send samples to external labs for further analysis and validation.
• Maintain a strong presence on the floor to monitor quality and reinforce standards.
• Document results, write procedures, and implement corrective actions when needed.

Education and Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Food Science, Quality Management, or related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• Previous experience as a QA Lab Technician or Manager within Food Manufacturing.
• Familiarity with AAFCO, FDA, FSMA, SFSF, FCI, OSHA, and other relevant regulatory bodies.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to different personalities and maintain professionalism.
