Position

SomeraRoad is seeking to hire a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Administrative Assistant to support overall office administration in New York City. This is a dynamic and multifaceted role where you will play a key part in ensuring smooth office operations. Your responsibilities will include organizing travel arrangements, handling expenses, and supporting partners of the firm with various tasks. As an added highlight, this role offers direct interaction with the CEO, providing support on administrative needs. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  Travel & Event Coordination:

  • Book travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and transportation.
  • Create detailed itineraries and ensure all logistics are accounted for.
  • Assist with coordinating events, meetings, and conferences, including any required accommodations and travel for attendees.

  Expense Management:

  • Track, process, and submit expenses, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Monitor and maintain receipts, invoices, and other expense-related documentation.
  • Assist with budget tracking for office-related expenditures.

 

  Miscellaneous Administrative Support:

  • Run personal errands and support tasks that may include scheduling personal appointments, making reservations, or managing household/vendor communications.
  • Provide ad-hoc assistance to SomeraRoad partners and other team members as needed.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree required.

· At least 1 year of experience in an administrative support or office assistant role.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

· Strong entrepreneurial spirit.

· Excellent analytical skills, detail-oriented, highly organized.

· Team player with good interpersonal skills.

· Self-starter with a positive attitude and hard work ethic.

· Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
