Research Associate - Contract - Cambridge MA

Proclinical is seeking a detail-oriented Research Associate to enhance preclinical research workflows.

Primary Responsibilities:

You will collaborate with scientists to accurately input study protocols and assay details into our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Generating reports and maintaining digital records are key aspects of this role. This position is perfect for someone who learns quickly, communicates effectively, and is adept at using new digital systems in scientific settings.

Skills & Requirements:

• Degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with in vivo research protocols and assay execution.
• Experience with scientific or laboratory computer systems like LIMS.
• Strong computer literacy and quick learning ability for new software.
• High attention to detail in data entry and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with diverse staff.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.

The Research Associate's responsibilities will be:

• Collaborate with scientists to gather information on in vivo protocols, study designs, and assay methodologies.
• Enter detailed experimental data and protocol steps into the LIMS platform consistently.
• Generate standardized and ad-hoc reports from LIMS to support various needs.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of entries, resolving data issues proactively.
• Maintain digital records and document protocol amendments in the system.
• Work with IT and informatics teams to test and refine LIMS features.
• Contribute to SOP documentation and user guidance for LIMS tasks.
