We are currently hiring a School Social Worke r in L ake County, IL , for the 2025–2026 school year.

Position Details:

• Position: School Social Worker or School Counselor
• Location: Lake County, IL
• Grade Level: Pre K-2nd
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:45am-3:45pm
• Caseload: Approximately 20

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social-emotional and behavioral support.
• Participate in IEP meetings and help develop service plans.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers.
• Deliver both individual and small group counseling.
• Maintain documentation and support compliance efforts.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or School Counseling.
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker (SSW) or School Counselor endorsement – required.
• Experience working with early childhood or preschool-aged students.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and early intervention.
