Job Overview

An established Am Law firm is seeking an Environmental and Land Use Senior Associate to join its Washington, D.C. office. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex regulatory compliance and enforcement matters while advising top-tier clients. Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on environmental regulatory compliance matters.

• Handle CERCLA and RCRA compliance and enforcement cases.

• Manage legal matters involving hazardous, solid, medical, pharmaceutical, and controlled substance waste.

• Draft, review, and analyze legal documents with accuracy and strategic insight.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant environmental law experience.

• Strong expertise in regulatory compliance, particularly CERCLA and RCRA.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

• Bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.

• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
