Job Description

We’re looking for a Lead Engineer to join a growing real estate investment and operations firm that’s modernizing how technology drives portfolio performance.

In this role, you’ll sit at the intersection of technology, operations, and investment strategy —partnering directly with business leaders to build tools, automations, and analytics that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance NOI.

This is a hands-on builder role , not a back-office IT position. You’ll write code, design integrations, automate workflows, and create dashboards that directly impact how a multi-billion-dollar real estate portfolio runs day-to-day.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with Asset Management, Property Operations, and Finance teams to identify and solve high-impact business problems
• Design and deploy data tools, dashboards, and automations that improve operational performance
• Integrate systems such as Yardi, Zendesk, Palantir Foundry, and internal databases into unified workflows
• Build analytics for forecasting, expense tracking, and performance monitoring
• Leverage AI and automation to optimize leasing, maintenance, and communications workflows
• Quantify business outcomes from your technical solutions
• Act as a bridge between technical and business teams to ensure solutions are scalable and practical

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or systems automation
• Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry or Gotham (required)
• Proficiency in Python , SQL , and ETL pipeline development (PySpark a plus)
• Strong analytical skills and a knack for simplifying complex systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills — you can translate between code and business goals
