DC Lab Technician

Job Summary:

We are urgently seeking a hands-on DC Lab Technician with strong Linux skills and oscilloscope experience to support our electronics and system validation lab. The ideal candidate will assist in system-level testing, lab organization, and hardware debugging. This is a fast-paced environment that requires initiative, attention to detail, and solid technical acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install development platforms and server systems on the lab bench.
• Connect and operate oscilloscopes to collect waveform signal data.
• Perform mechanical and light rework using drills, screwdrivers, or Dremels.
• Prepare PCBs for detailed solder rework (soldering done by another team).
• Run system validation tests, document results, and identify hardware issues.
• Manage lab inventory, shipping & receiving logistics, and maintain DCIM tools.
• Keep lab equipment organized and actively contribute to lab process improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree, certification, or relevant experience in electronics, computer hardware, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a lab or system testing environment.
• Command-line experience with Linux .
• Proficiency in debugging and basic server-level diagnostics.
• Familiarity with DCIM tools and hardware tracking systems.
• Ability to use hand tools and operate power tools (drill, Dremel, etc.).
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred/Desired Skills:

• Experience working with oscilloscopes and signal measurement.
• Understanding of flip-flops and digital logic fundamentals.
• Exposure to x86/ARM system architectures.
• Experience with server management tools such as BMC .
• Basic soldering skills and ability to follow schematics.
• Knowledge of GPU-accelerated computing and system bring-up.
