Position Summary The intern student will be given the opportunity to work alongside the different members of the accounting/finance department including our project accountant, account payables admin and FP&A lead. The goal is for the intern to experience various career paths in accounting and finance.
This role is a full time 3-month opportunity starting June 8th. Key Results Areas - Project Accounting
- Set up and create new projects in the ERP system
- Set up contract review package for new customer purchase orders
- Learn how transactions related to job cost and inventory are tracked
- Account Payables
- Reconcile and ensure proper support for AP checks
- Organizing and scanning of AP files
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Special project for a major program to expose intern to data gathering & analysis
Requirements Qualifications: To qualify for this position, an individual must possess the knowledge, training, experience and abilities required.
Education and Training
- Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline
Other - Must be fun to work with
- Have a go getter attitude
Desired Job Qualification - Entry level understanding of Microsoft Office, especially with Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Strong organizational and time management
- Attention to detail.

Compensation And Benefits The hourly range for this role is $20/hr. - $24/hr. This range represent the anticipated minimum and maximum base + bonus for this position based upon a good faith and reasonable estimate. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the applicant’s qualifications (education, training and/or experience related to this role), and therefore, may fall outside the range shown, depending on the circumstances.
