We are hiring a Supply Planner to play an important role and be a valuable contributor to our business. We are looking for someone excited about working in a high growth, faced paced environment with a passion for designing a path forward. This position reports to the Director of Supply Planning.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Supply Planner role will require an experienced individual able to facilitate and drive results in a fast paced and demanding growth environment, leveraging his/her strong interpersonal and inventory control skills. This role will be challenged to take charge of maintaining the company’s inventory supplies, ensuring sufficiency and efficiency, monitoring and retaining inventory counts, preserving precise records, and developing robust supply plans to adopt all forecasted demands.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain Monthly Rolling Supply Plan, aggregating multi-channel and marketing inventory needs for a rolling 52- week period.
• Develop Supply Plans that address all forecasted demands, including potential upside volume.
• Create Primary and Secondary Component demand based on anticipated supply chain needs.
• Monitor inventory levels while managing risk.
• Establish and maintain appropriate target stock levels, including safety stock, and surge stock.
• Manage Excess Inventory.
• Support Finance with Inventory at COGS reporting.
• Partner with cross functional teams on process improvements.
• Assist in NetSuite optimization projects with Ops & Finance team.
• Vendor Communications: Use Supply Plan to create PO shift suggestions and relay to vendors directly; Partner with Assistant Purchasing Manager on any component shortages.
• NetSuite Setup & Transactions: Complete initial and new SKU/Item setups along with any secondary adjustments needed; Create UPCs using GS1, generate barcodes to send to Creative team or parties in need.
• S&OP Responsibilities: Pull Lost Sales reporting and use Supply Plan to generate Stock Level Forecasting reporting for pass off to Director of Supply Planning.
• Month-End Responsibilities: Review any open/missing Transfer Orders with Logistics and Purchasing team.
• Tackle other ad hoc projects with Director of Supply Planning and VP of Ops on an as needed basis.
PRINCIPAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
• 4+ years of supply planning/integrated business planning expertise in CPG, Cosmetics or related industry experience preferred
• BS/BA degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent preferred
• NetSuite and MRP experience is critical, plus Advanced Excel, Google Gsuite, PowerPoint
• Deep understanding of how supply/demand planning impacts other functions of the business
• Collaborative and trustworthy character
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively at one time and work in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for clean beauty is a plus
