Job Title: Tax Accounting Senior Manager Location: On-site | Full-Time | Direct Hire Salary: $160,000–$170,000 + 10% Bonus

Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Tax Accounting Senior Manager to lead the preparation and oversight of global tax provision activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and strategic tax planning across international operations.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in ASC 740, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement. You’ll collaborate across departments, support external audits, and help shape the company’s tax strategy through forecasting and compliance leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review global tax provision under ASC 740, including FIN 48 analysis and financial statement disclosures
• Coordinate with international teams to gather and validate non-US tax data
• Support income tax compliance by reviewing filings and performing provision-to-return reconciliations
• Partner with finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure accurate tax treatment of transactions
• Monitor tax legislation and communicate relevant changes to internal stakeholders
• Lead process improvements across tax workpapers, systems, and reporting tools
• Collaborate with external auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
• Reconcile tax accounts and ensure accuracy of deferred tax balances

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax (flexible for strong candidates)
• Proven expertise in ASC 740 and global tax provision for multinational enterprises
• Experience with large ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Familiarity with OneSource Tax Provision software preferred
• CPA certification strongly preferred
• Background in manufacturing industry is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and system enhancements
