Ultrasound Sonographer - Travel Position Location: Asheville, NC Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 26 weeks Shift: 5x8s Pay: $2191/week Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Sonographer to perform diagnostic imaging procedures that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The Sonographer will operate ultrasound equipment, capture high-quality images, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the exam. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and knowledgeable in a variety of ultrasound specialties. Key Responsibilities: * Perform ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and established protocols. * Prepare and position patients, ensuring safety and comfort during imaging procedures. * Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to capture accurate diagnostic images. * Analyze images for quality and assist physicians in interpretation as needed. * Document findings and maintain accurate patient records. * Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and facility standards.
