Job Description

United Facilities is seeking an Operations Manager for our dedicated 1.3 M sq. ft. automated warehouse in Belvidere, Illinois.

Our operations manager will direct, supervise, and support all warehouse operations by planning daily workload and man-hour requirements, ensure equipment is maintained, oversee compliance with SOP, and resolving various issues as needed.

Salary Range : $90,000-$92,000

You will do this by:

• Leading supervisors, team leads, forklift operators, and case pickers.
• Motivating team members by communicating a common vision, relaying incremental milestone targets, and celebrating victories along the way.
• Ensuring employees are cross-trained on current processes for all functions.
• Inspiring a safety conscious culture and serves as a champion for continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field; plus 2 years of warehouse/logistic experience in a leadership role . Understanding of inventory systems and workflows are a must. Previous experience with robotics a plus.

• Exceptional people skills to motive at the highest level
• Knowledge of light manufacturing
• Extensive knowledge of operations and production management.
• Ability to interpret forecasting/ production data and make adjustments as needed.
• Attention to detail and time management.
