Job Overview:

We are seeking a Windows Deployment Technician to support a high-volume hardware and software refresh project at a large enterprise site in Bath, ME . This is an onsite , 3-month contract role offering hands-on experience with imaging, staging, and deploying Windows-based systems in a professional IT environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for IT professionals looking to build experience with desktop deployments, device lifecycle support, and end-user hardware setup in a structured, team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform imaging and deployment of Windows 10/11 systems across end-user environments
• Unbox, stage, and configure laptops and desktops for end-user readiness
• Transfer user data and settings from legacy to new devices
• Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues during deployment
• Track and document asset information, deployment progress, and completion status
• Provide white-glove setup support for end users when needed
• Maintain a clean and organized deployment workspace
• Follow project timelines, documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship (Due to site requirements)
• 1+ year of IT support or PC deployment experience
• Familiarity with Windows OS imaging tools (e.g., MDT, SCCM, or similar)
• Basic understanding of networking, user profiles, and system configurations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and move IT equipment (up to 50 lbs)
