Attorney, Criminal/Civil Litigation

Robert Half has partnered with a dynamic and growing law firm, seeking a highly motivated attorney with 2+ years of experience in criminal and/or civil litigation. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate advocate with strong analytical and courtroom skills to join a collaborative legal team.

Responsibilities

• Case Management: Independently manage a diverse criminal and civil caseload, including the defense of law enforcement officers in criminal, internal affairs, and civil matters.
• Legal Expertise: Conduct thorough legal research and draft compelling documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery.
• Courtroom Advocacy: Represent clients in hearings and trials.
• Client Communication: Maintain consistent, empathetic communication with clients, including police officers, and advise them on legal strategies.
• Collaboration: Work with senior attorneys and paralegals to ensure efficient case progression.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Colorado with 2+ years of litigation experience.
• 2nd chair trial experience is preferred.
• A judicial clerkship is ideal for strong research and writing skills.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Compensation & Application

• Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 + a comprehensive benefits plan.
• Work Structure: Hybrid, with 3 days remote per week.
