Role Objective:

 

The Maintenance Franchise Support Trainer is responsible for delivering technical training and

operational support to franchise maintenance teams to ensure compliance with company

standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. This role serves as a key liaison

between corporate headquarters and franchise operators, helping to maintain consistency,

quality, and efficiency across all franchise maintenance operations.

Essential Job Tasks:

Training Delivery &Development

  • Conduct hands-on and classroom training for franchise maintenance personnel on aircraft systems, tools, procedures, and company standards.
  • Develop and update training materials, manuals, and SOPs to reflect changes in regulations, technology, and company policy.
  • Train franchise personnel on safety protocols, maintenance recordkeeping, and company software platforms.

Franchise Support

  • Serve as a technical resource and point of contact for franchisees regarding maintenance best practices, troubleshooting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support new franchise openings by training new staff, auditing facilities for readiness, and ensuring alignment with company standards.
  • Assist with audits and quality assurance checks of franchise locations.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure franchisees follow FAA regulations, manufacturer instructions, and internal quality control processes.
  • Document training participation and outcomes in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with corporate safety, compliance, and operations teams to communicate updates and support initiatives.
  • Gather feedback from franchise maintenance teams to help improve training programs and operational procedures.

Required Education/Experience:

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required.
  • 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience; previous experience in training or instructional roles preferred.
  • Familiarity with Part 135 and/or Part 145 operations.
  • Strong understanding of FAA regulations and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with maintenance tracking systems (e.g., CAMP, Corridor) and MS Office suite.
  • Ability to travel to franchise locations as needed (up to 50–75%).

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in a franchise-based aviation model or multi-site MRO environment.
  • OEM training certifications or experience with specific aircraft types used by the franchise network.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, depending on franchise region.

Work Authorization:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.
