We are seeking a Café Attendant to join our team and play an essential role in creating a welcoming and satisfying dining experience for our colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Service & Presentation: Prepare, replenish, and maintain an appealing buffet and à la carte options for the colleague cafeteria. Ensure food is served fresh, attractively presented, and in compliance with food safety standards.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and attentive service to colleagues, addressing any inquiries about food options and dietary needs.
- Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary cafeteria environment, including dining areas, service stations, and kitchen prep areas.
- Inventory Management: Monitor food supplies, beverages, and utensils, and coordinate with the culinary team to ensure timely restocking.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the culinary and stewarding teams to ensure smooth cafeteria operations.
- Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
The hourly rate for this position is $27.00/hr. This is the pay for this position that Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego reasonably expects to pay.

Qualifications - Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a similar role is preferred.

- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices; Food Handler's Certification is a plus.
