Job Description

Position Overview:

We are urgently seeking a highly skilled Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) to join our team for a 4-month assignment, with the possibility of extension. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Requirements:

• Experience:
• Preferred 3–5 years of recent medical laboratory experience as a CPT
• Must be proficient in medical terminology
• Education:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Certifications:
• Required: California State Phlebotomy Certification (Current)
• Required: Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
• Language:
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required
• A valid, clean, and clear driver’s license is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture procedures
• Collect and label specimens accurately according to laboratory protocols
• Maintain specimen integrity by following proper procedures
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and clinical staff
