About the Role:

Pyxis Lab, Inc. is seeking a hands-on, detail-orient Chemical Lab Technician to join our growing production team. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing and producing Calibration Standards, Reagents, and Other Chemical Products/Solutions used in our industry-leading water treatment technologies.

This position is crucial to ensuring the quality, accuracy, and consistency of the chemical products that power our sensors and analyzers in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and verify quality of our calibration standard solutions, reagents and chemical product offering
• Follow strict lab protocols and documentation procedures
• Handle, store and label chemicals safely and accurately
• Support inventory tracking and reordering of raw materials
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure timely fulfillment
• Coordinate and create accuracy Material Safety Data Sheets for all product offering

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology or Related Field (Bachelor's Degree Preferred)
• Familiarity with basic wet chemistry and solution preparation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to Lab Safety
• Comfortable in a hands-on, production-focused environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science
• Prior experience in Manufacturing, QA/QC or Lab Production
• Understanding of Water Treatment Chemistry
